I'm Sophie, I make beginner friendly cross stitch kits for happy crafters who want to embrace their creativity through kits that bring joy.
About Sophie
I live in Norfolk with my husband and two young children (both boys) and somewhere in between school runs and nap times I run my creative business.
I'd always dreamt of working for myself, so when I was on maternity leave in 2019 I decided it was time to try something different - and four months later Sew Sophie Crafts released it's very first collection of cross stitch kits. The rest, as they say, is history.
A brief history

Where it all began
I founded Sew Sophie in 2019, when my little boy was just four months old. I'd always dreamed of being my own boss and I was determined to give it my all.

Sew Sophie HQ
In 2021, an official Sew Sophie HQ was resurrected in the garden. It is my perfect work space and I love being able to create beautiful kits from my little studio.

A proud five years
Some highlights (so far) include collaborating with Anchor Crafts, partnering with Sewing Street TV to promote my brand, and exhibiting at national events, including Stitch Festival (photographed here).
Why Cross Stitch?
I've always been a craft lover, but cross stitch is the hobby that stuck. I instantly fell in love with the calming, therapeutic nature of slow stitching, and over the years it has had such a positive and profound impact on my mental wellbeing.
